Come Play Outside! Located where the Rocky Mountains meet the city of Salt Lake, Westminster blends classroom learning with experiences presented by its unique location. With skiing, hiking, rock climbing, mountain biking, and a multitude of outdoor experiences just moments away, the local ecology offers something for everyone--including opportunities for personal challenge and growth. The Outdoor Recreation Program provides the Westminster community with a variety of day trips in the Wasatch Mountains and evening events related to the outdoor industry including films and presentations by professionals and adventurers. We also have some fantastic extended trips to the Uintas, Southern Utah, Wyoming, Maple Canyon, and the City of Rocks! Instructors and students practice Leave No Trace principles on all trips.
