The Program

The Bill and Vieve Gore School of Business at Westminster College has designed the Professional Bachelor of Business Administration (PBBA) program to help you realize your career goals.

You'll learn online, at your own pace and on your own schedule, with regular opportunities for personal interaction on the Westminster campus with faculty mentors and fellow students.

The program is built around five business project sequences that allow you to demonstrate what you can do with what you know. Projects might include financial analysis of firms, market studies for new products, marketing plans, or a business plan for a company you'd like to start. By completing the five PBBA project sequences, you combine what you already know with what you've learned through the program to build a professional and academic resume that really stands out to employers.

How it works

  • The preparation time for each project sequence varies according to your experience. Together with your project coach, you'll identify what you already know and what you need to learn to meet each project's competency guidelines.
  • Once you have identified the skills you need to work on, you determine your own learning schedule and pace.
  • The successful completion of each project sequence is concrete evidence that you've mastered the related skill set and are ready to move on to the next project.
  • Each project sequence is preceded by a two-day, on-campus residency that includes workshops, seminars, and tool-building sessions that prepare you well to get the most out of your experience.
  • All the project sequences actually demonstrate your business skills and abilities.
