Westminster ranks 20th among “Best Universities - Masters” in the West. This ranking is based on a weighted average of up to 15 different indicators of academic excellence.

Westminster was also recognized as a great value, ranking 14th on the list of “Great Schools, Great Prices” in its category. This ranking relates a school’s academic quality to the average net cost of attendance, based on the average level of need-based financial aid the school awards. At Westminster more than 80% of undergraduate students receive scholarships and 98% receive some form of financial aid.

"Westminster offers a unique educational experience in Utah and the Intermountain West, characterized by a strong foundation in liberal education; active, collaborative learning methods; and a small campus environment that promotes student interaction with faculty and with each other,” remarked President Michael S. Bassis. “It is gratifying to see our focus on student learning, and the generous level of financial aid we offer students, be recognized nationally.
