Westminster College Selects New Dean of the Bill and Vieve Gore School of Business

Dr. John Groesbeck Comes from Eastern New Mexico University 


Westminster College has announced that Dr. John Groesbeck has been appointed the new Dean of the Bill and Vieve Gore School of Business. Dr Groesbeck will officially begin his role at Westminster in July.

Dr. Groesbeck currently serves as the Dean of the College of Business at Eastern New Mexico University in Portales, New Mexico. In this position he managed both the internal restructuring of the college, as well as the development of innovative outreach and distance education efforts. Prior to his time at ENMU, Dr. Groesbeck served as the Interim Dean and Associate Dean for the College of Business and Technology at Southern Utah University. He was also a founding editor for the online journal Mountain Plains Journal of Business and Economics, used to facilitate the Mountain Plains Management Conference.

Dr. Groesbeck has a Ph.D. in Economics and a M.S.S. in Economics and Management from Utah State University. He earned his bachelor of arts in political science from Boise State University.
