SALT LAKE CITY– For those media members who haven’t had the opportunity to check out this year’s Winter at Westminster (W@W) line-up, April 17 will be your last chance.

As the semester comes to an end, W@W students will take their final ride at Snowbird on April 17, followed by the end of season party and video contest awards ceremony on campus. Media interested in attending these events can contact Liz Rogers at (801) 884-7892.

This semester, W@W students participated in winter adventures spanning from avalanche safety training to yurt camping. They skied The Canyons with a season pass, checked out Park City with a demo from the coolest avalanche dog around, donned rifles for the biathlon at Soldier Hollow, and went extreme tubing, to name a few.

W@W is a “study abroad alternative” where students from across the country take a full load of regular classes and participate in a wide variety of winter activities at seven world-class resorts located within 30 minutes of campus. The program also includes a lecture series by some of the top outdoor industry professionals and opportunities for internships.

During April 17’s end of season party, the W@W video contest winners will be selected from the following three videos:
