Westminster’s Alumni Board Announces New Leadership and Members

SALT LAKE CITY – The Westminster College Alumni Board is pleased to announce its leadership for the 2009-10 year:
• Tofi Ta’afua, chair of the Alumni Board, class of 2001, MBA class of 2003, and
associate for Goldman Sachs
• Bethany Eller Matsumori, vice chair of the Alumni Board, class of 2003, and
independent public relations consultant
• Elvira Charles Nelson, secretary of the Alumni Board, class of 1979, Masters of
Management class of 1984, and owner of Urban Outsourcing Inc and Controller,
Magnum Energy, LLC.
Additionally, the Alumni Board recently appointed five new members:
• Jake Breen, MBA class of 2006, associate broker, Prudential Real Estate
• Julie Peck-Dabling, class of 2001, program manager, Salt Lake County
Mayor’s Open Space Trust Fund
• John Rech, class of 1995, sales, L.N. Curtis & Sons
• Heather Smith, class of 1997, social worker, Utah Department of Workforce
Services
• Silvia Thomas, class of 1998, director of Hispanic/Latino Affairs, State of Utah.
Westminster’s Alumni Program helps graduates stay engaged in the college’s unique environment for learning by connecting them with educational, social and service opportunities at the college.
