ReBirth the Earth: Trees for Tomorrow

Join the Roots & Shoots Youth Leadership Councils in creating five new tree nurseries for Roots & Shoots groups in Tanzania while planting trees in your own community.

Roots & Shoots Day of Peace

Roots & Shoots plan group projects that promote peace and "fly" Giant Peace Dove puppets made out of recycled materials.  In past years, Giant Peace Doves have “flown” at the Coliseum in Rome, the top of Mt. Kilimanjaro in Tanzania, on top of a skyscraper in Shanghai and at United Nations headquarters in New York City.

To celebrate Day of Peace, some Utah Roots & Shoots groups participate in the Imagine PeaceFest
