Science on Display

On each level of Meldrum, there are interactive exhibits in the walls. They are housed in wooden boxes built out of the London Plane Tree that once stood in Meldrum's footprint. These exhibits provide learning opportunities for science students, as well as the larger campus community.

Sustainable Development

There is also a "Sustainable Development" area in Meldrum's lobby with a bike that generates power. By peddling the bike, you can power an incandescent light bulb, fluorescent light bulb, a fan, and even your own USB device to see how much power we consume for each of these items.
