Welcome to Science Olympiad at Westminster College!We had an awesome time hosting the 2012 Northern Regional Science Olympiad on February 11, 2012. This year we had about 400 student participants and it was great to see everyone rock the competition. See the results. Check out our great pictures from the 2012 competition!   SO competitions are like academic track meets, consisting of a series of team events in each division (Division B is middle school; Division C is high school). Competing in the events requires preparation, commitment, coaching and practice throughout the year and is taken very seriously by the students and teachers involved. The regional competition such as the one hosted at Westminster will qualify teams for the state competition. |
