Snow is on the way. With another storm expecting around a foot of snow for Friday, and another, hopefully bigger storm expected Sunday, resorts are gearing up to open. As of right now, Brighton and Solitude are both open. Skiing has been great, and there were even a few powder stashes to hit last weekend. Alta is expected to open Friday, and right behind that, Snowbird is expected to open Saturday. It's only a matter of time before all terrain is accessible, and everything starts getting buried underneath the average of 550 inches the Wasatch gets each year. We've got a great schedule planned out for you this year, which can be checked out here https://www.westminstercollege.edu/pdf/snow/Activity%20Schedule%202010.pdf Right around a month and a half, and you will be experiencing glorious Utah powder. Winter is almost here! With Solitude ski resort opening up a couple trails, and other resorts expecting to open within the week, it looks like winter is here to stay. The Wasatch is expecting a pretty decent sized storm starting Wednesday night or Thursday, and that should seal the deal for the opening of a few other resorts for the coming weekend. We are still accepting applications, so make sure to get yours in ASAP! The national weather service is calling for this to be a great winter, again! If you have any questions, feel free to contact me, Brian, at bem1470@westminstercollege.edu. We look forward to seeing you in January!
