Bring your skis, snowboards, and backcountry gear. On average there is a 10-20 degree temperature difference between Salt Lake City and the local mountain resorts.

When packing for a winter in Utah, you need to be certain you've got the right gear. Days that start out sunny and warm on the slopes can end with below zero temperatures and full-scale winter storms. Needless to say, you must be prepared for any type of weather. All Winter at Westminster students will receive a 15% discount at backcountry.com, valid throughout the entire semester!
