Application Review Criteria
- Academic qualification as demonstrated by college transcripts
- Academic, professional or personal objectives as explained in your personal statement
- Space availability in courses requested
- A cumulative G.P.A. of 3.0 is preferred for admission
Deadlines
Early Enrollment Offer: If your COMPLETE application is postmarked by October 2, you are accepted into the college and your W@W program deposit is received by October 16th, you will receive a FREE pair of Dynastar skis or a Rossignol snowboard!
Regular Enrollment: All application materials must be postmarked by November 15 in order to register for spring classes and to receive priority housing consideration. We strongly encourage you to apply before this date, especially if you are interested in participating in an internship.
Late applications will be considered until December 15, pending program availability.
Special Notes for International Students
Non-U.S. citizens who do not possess an Alien Registration card must submit verification of sufficient funds to cover their educational expenses by submitting the following: 1) a bank statement, and 2) a student’s or sponsor’s statement of financial responsibility with appropriate signature(s). Students who have been speaking English less than five years must submit the results of the TOEFL. A minimum score of 550 is required.
Apply to Winter at Westminster
We encourage you to complete and send in your application soon, as enrollment is on a first come first served basis. To apply to Winter at Westminster you just need to complete the following:

Visit Westminster College's academic catalog and select classes you propose to enroll.

Call Deb Vickery at 800.748.4753 and she will answer your questions and assist you in the credit transfer process.

Contact your academic advisor to get your proposed class schedule and transferable credits approved.

After You are Accepted
Program Deposits
1. To cover your season passes and to secure your spot in the program we ask that following acceptance you send a non-refundable $800 program deposit. The order in which deposits are received will determine program availability, class preferences, and priority housing. This deposit is deducted from your Winter at Westminster Program fee of $3200*. Balance due January 4th.

2. A $200 refundable housing deposit is due to complete your housing application. Please call the cashier's office at 801.832.2135 to make a payment over the phone.
Housing Application & Deposit

Register for Classes
Register for the classes you want! Westminster College offers over 525 classes during the spring semester, allowing you to take the classes you need to stay on track for graduation. You will need to register through our Start Center with an advisor, but you can search for the classes online to expedite this process. Your academic advisor will also assist you in transferring Westminster College earned credits back to your home institution. Call us when you’re ready 801.832.2280.
Arrange Travel
Salt Lake City International Airport is your destination. Westminster College is a short 15 minute drive east towards the beautiful Wasatch Mountains. If you plan to drive, Westminster College is located in the Sugar House area just off interstate I-80 and the 1300 East exit.
Mail Your Gear Here
You’ll probably want to mail your skis/board, computer, and extras here for convenience. Our mail room will accept your UPS, Fed Ex and USPS packages and hold them until you get here. We suggest that you send them earlier rather than later so that they are ready for you to pick up and use the weekend you arrive!
