How Do I Access RSS?

RSS Aggregators download and display RSS feeds for you. A number of free and commercial aggregators are available for download.

Some aggregators are separate, stand-alone programs; other services (extensions or plug-ins) allow you add RSS feeds to a Web page and view them in the browser window.

Note: Westminster College does not support individual RSS aggregators. If you have problems reading Westminster's RSS, or if you use Live Bookmarks, please consult your aggregator's help file.

What is RSS?

RSS or "Really Simple Syndication" is an XML-based format for sharing and distributing changing Web content. Using an RSS aggregator, you can view data feeds from various sources including headlines, summaries, links to full stories.
