Academic Advising and Registration

The START Center coordinates new freshman and transfer student advising and registration. Peer advisors from each academic school are available for individual consultation by appointment. START staff also help students choose or change their majors and connect students to faculty advisors once they have selected their majors. Each student is responsible for meeting with his/her advisor, who will aid in determining the student's course of study and scheduling classes.

WebAdvisor

WebAdvisor is Westminster's online application used for accessing college information. To access WebAdvisor click here. Current students can use WebAdvisor to:

  • Check grades
  • Search for classes
  • Register
  • Add/Drop classes

Note: When using WebAdvisor to register for courses, make sure your submitted course registration requests were accepted.

Before you use WebAdvisor, we strongly recommend that you meet with an academic advisor to discuss individual program and graduation information. To make an appointment with a START Center advisor call 801.832.2280. To make an appointment with your assigned faculty advisor, please contact him/her during posted office hours, by phone, or e-mail.
