You will be challenged in different ways and become accustomed to a different way of living. Without a doubt a studying in a foriegn country will be a rewarding, life changing experience you will never forget.

Deciding to study abroad is a big decision and you probably have a lot of questions. While you will have to do a lot of individual research before departing, there are people who can help. Follow the guidelines below to help get started:

  1. Meet with Sara Demko in the International Center for a study abroad advising session.
  2. Attend a Study Abroad Fair!
The next Fair will be Thursday, September 16, 2010 on The Commons (inside Shaw if inclement weather).
  3. Choose a program
  4. Apply to the program and then complete the Westminster paperwork.
  5. Apply for financial aid and scholarships
  6. Attend the Westminster Pre-Departure Orientation.

For more information, e-mail Sara Demko, call 801.832.2825, or visit the Diversity & International Center in the lower level of the Shaw Center.
