Campus life forecast: Very cool.
Westminster is an easy-going, laid-back, welcoming place with students from many different backgrounds and cultures who have all kinds of different interests, passions, and talents.
Every one of them finds a niche in Westminster's unique environment for learning - and so will you.
There is so much to do right on campus - and everything is within walking distance. In fact, there is so much going on, our students even have a Campus Concierge to connect them with activities and events on campus and in the surrounding area. Very cool!
- The annual campus calendar is filled with concerts, plays, guest speakers, film series, lectures, art exhibits, and intercollegiate and intramural athletic events, And there are always Wild Wednesdays - something different every week, from Casino Night to comedians.
- We have more than 50 campus clubs and organizations, representing every interest, from the Ski and Snowboard Club to the Entrepreneurship Club and from Roots and Shoots (a division of the Jane Goodall Institute) to our award-winning ethics Club team.
- We also field 13 intercollegiate teams (our Griffin lacrosse team and women's ski and snowboard teams won their respective national championships!) as well as intramural sports leagues and mini-leagues. And our Dolores Dore Eccles Health, Wellness, and Athletic Center is a one-stop shop for every kind of fitness activity - rock climbing to swimming, running, dance, yoga - you name it!
