Westminster College Theatre Scholarship Auditions 

General Information

All prospective theatre majors and minors must audition to be considered for admission to the Theatre Program at Westminster College. Numerous scholarships are available.  To receive a theatre scholarship, you must maintain a GPA of 3.0.

To schedule a live audition, please complete the online audition application form. Once you've filled out the form, someone from our office will be in touch to schedule the live audition.

Audition by Mail (Out of State and International Students) 

If you prefer to mail in your audition, please submit a DVD of your performance, or send your technical portfolio to:

Audition requirements:

1. Two contrasting (contemporary and classical)  monologues, memorized, no longer than 3 minutes each, or if you are auditioning for musical theatre you will need 32 bars of a musical theatre piece and two contrasting monologues.  You must provide an accompanist or bring the accompaniment on a cd.
2.  A theatre resume that describes your theatre background (shows, training, venues, awards, roles, etc.)
3. A current photo (this does not have to be a professional headshot, just a picture that helps directors to remember your face).

You should prepare monologues that are representative of different styles and periods but that highlight your specific ability and talent. These works should demonstrate your experience and technical proficiency to their best advantage.
