Learn how to learn

At Westminster College, we champion ideas and the voices behind them. Our teachers are interested in your thoughts and passions. In our classrooms, you will learn to view the world through the prism of ethics and conscience. You will embrace cultures of far off lands, develop leadership qualities, and learn skills for life-long success and learning.

The options are endless

Are you a rock climber or basketball fanatic? Do you like hanging out in the cafeteria, playing foosball, or do you prefer a quiet bench by the creek to study? Do you love a good protest or prefer volunteering for Habitat for Humanity builds? Whether you're one or all of the above, you're bound to find someone on campus who loves collecting PEZ or playing Frisbee as much as you do.

Campus life

Take a walk around campus and you'll notice the shady, flowered walkways, stately Converse Hall and admire the view from the bridge over Emigration Creek. Walk inside the Residence Halls and you'll love the leather sofas. Or attend a concert in the new Vieve Gore Concert Hall and enjoy the acoustics. Exceptional facilities and state-of-the art technology are part of our commitment to educational excellence.

Mountain and Powder Fever

Utah is an outdoor mecca that includes Zion, Bryce Canyon, Arches and don't forget some of the best snow on Earth. Forty to 60-inch snowfalls happen all the time! And when it falls, Westminster skiers hit the nearby slopes with everything they've got. 'We're 30 minutes from Alta and Snowbird -- the best places in the U.S. and the world,' says Westminster senior and ski bum, Jeremy Degagne.
