Learn how to learn

At Westminster College, we champion ideas and the voices behind them. Our teachers are interested in your thoughts and passions. In our classrooms, you will learn to view the world through the prism of ethics and conscience. You will embrace cultures of far off lands, develop leadership qualities, and learn skills for life-long success and learning.

A buzzing campus

Not all of college's lessons are learned in books. In between study groups, Westminster students are attending a student play, watching a foreign film, enjoying a concert by the Griffin Chorus, or listening to guest speakers like Robert F. Kennedy Jr. or Jeopardy! champ Ken Jennings. Interested in poetry or diversity issues? Don't miss the Weeks Poetry Series or Key Bank Diversity Lecture Series.

Campus life

Take a walk around campus and you'll notice the shady, flowered walkways, stately Converse Hall and admire the view from the bridge over Emigration Creek. Walk inside the Residence Halls and you'll love the leather sofas. Or attend a concert in the new Vieve Gore Concert Hall and enjoy the acoustics. Exceptional facilities and state-of-the art technology are part of our commitment to educational excellence.

Ideal campus

Westminster straddles the best of two worlds: city living and mountain recreation. Campus is just 15 minutes from downtown Salt Lake City, nestled in the eclectic Sugar House neighborhood with plenty of funky shops and restaurants. Yet, you'll be just 25 minutes from the nation's best powder skiing, snow boarding, hiking, and mountain biking. You couldn't dream up a more ideal college location.
