Pat Richards is a retired Senior Vice President and Regional Manager of Wells Fargo’s Private Bank. She began working for First Security in 1973, shortly after leaving a management training position with the First Bank of Chicago, and then went on to serve as the president of Business Financial Services in 1996, and manager of the Utah Trust and Private Banking Groups for First Security.
Pat sits on numerous boards, cabinets, and councils, such as the Governor's Economic Council, the International Women's Forum, the United Way, and the University Hospital Foundation. She has served as board Chair of the Utah Symphony and Opera, as the Vice Chair of the League of American Orchestras, and was the first female chair of the Salt Lake Chamber of Commerce.
Pat holds a BS in Economics as well as an MBA, both from from Northwestern University. A native of Kankakee, IL and a Utah resident since the early 1970s, she enjoys hiking, skiing, sailing, and bird watching with her husband, She sang with the Utah Symphony Chorus for many years, and has said that she divides her time "between banking and music."
