Are You Undecided ("Undeclared") About Your Major?
Great! Not sure what you want to be when you grow up? Torn between aviation and art, organizational development and philosophy? Don't worry; you're not alone. The average Westminster student changes his or her major two or three times and starts school "undeclared."
Our liberal arts curriculum allows you to investigate many different disciplines. Unlike larger schools where certain classes are only offered to program majors, we encourage students to step out of their comfort zone and do something new. We want you to make the most of your college experience and maybe discover a passion you never knew you had.
What Else?
We're here for you! Individual guidance and counseling is available to all our students. The START Center helps undergraduate students register and understand the required curriculum for each major. Here you will meet with a peer advisor; a fellow student who can offer advice about which major is best for you.
We also encourage students to visit our Career Resource Center. The Career Resource Center staff can help you understand the various careers available for each type of major and direct you to other options you might not know about.
