Westminster Student Consultant Program

Number of Awards: 10 -12 per year.

 Description: Student are placed with a local business or community-based  organization in a four month consultancy during spring semester at 10 -15  hours a week. The intern works on specific projects providing management and technical assistance such as: business plans, marketing plans, research, financial/accounting assistance,  public relations, etc. 

Award Amount: Compensated at $12.50 per hour for 10–15 hours per week.

Eligibility:  Westminster students majoring in communication, accounting, economics, marketing, management, political science and other  disciplines.

Expectations:  Award recipients:

1. Establish specific goals at the beginning of the project.

2. Write a final reflective paper detailing how the experience helps achieve the college wide learning goals.
