Ronald E. McNair Scholars Summer Research Program

Number of Awards: 8-10

Description:  Stipend and on campus housing for McNair students for 30/40 hours per week of supervised research and participation in McNair activities.

Award Amount:  $2800 stipend, $700 food allowance, on campus housing, travel to California McNair Program, Berkeley.

Eligibility:  Any Westminster student who is enrolled in the McNair program; see website

Expectations:  Award recipients:

1. Participate in McNair workshops;

2. Present research results at the on-campus McNair symposium;

3. Are encouraged to present at external conferences;

4. Are encouraged to submit a final report for publication in an online journal.

Application Process: Complete a written application submitted to the McNair Program Director.
