2006 Research Fair Archive - Math AbstractsStatistical Analysis of Drive Through Lanes at Financial Institutions Using statistical data, averages, and counting and timing the number of cars and trucks going through the drive-through lanes of a financial institution, I was able to show three things: one, there is a higher percentage of people that go through the window lane of a drive-through than the lanes with tubes, two there are not more people, in total, that go to the window lane than the tube lanes, and three, the window lane of a drive-through does not have the longest nor the shortest mean waiting time. |
