Westminster's Voice Program: Meet Our Students

Corinne Rydmann
Mezzo-Soprano
Corinne Rydman is undergraduate at Westminster where she is majoring in education and math, with a minor in vocal performance. She will be singing the role of Dido in the Westminster Opera Studio production of Purcell's Dido & Aeneas in January 2012. She also sings with the Westminster Chamber Singers and has a contract to sing with the Utah Opera Chorus. She is a vocal student of assistant professor Michael Chipman.

Taylor Wuerth
Countertenor/Tenor
Taylor graduated from Westminster in 2012 with a major in marketing and a minor in vocal performance. He sang for four years with the Westminster Chamber Singers and played several roles with the Westminster Players and local professional theater companies. He now lives in New York City where he is pursuing a professional performance career on Broadway. Taylor was a student of assistant professor Michael Chipman.

Rebecca Hansen
Soprano
Rebecca Hansen graduated from Westminster in 2012, majoring in music with an emphasis vocal performance. In addition to being founder and president of the Westminster Music Is For Lovers (M.I.F.L.) Club, she sang leading roles with the Westminster Opera Studio and Chamber Singers. Rebecca was a student of Mary Ann Dresher.

M.I.F.L. Club
The Music Is For Lovers Club (M.I.F.L.) is an official ASWC student club whose mission is to cultivate appreciation of classical music among our student body by attending and participating in regular classical music concerts and operas. Members usually purchase the Utah Symphony & Opera all access pass for students, which gives them free access to the entire season of performances from those organizations. Any Westminster student is welcome to join!
