Westminster's Olympians...and a modest proposal

We're 24 hours away from the 2010 Winter Olympics Opening Ceremonies...and I'm working on my Communication Law paper. What do these things have in common? Well, 14 of the Olympians who will represent the USA have the same Westminster deadlines. As a senior at the college, I'm constantly pulling my hair out over homework and my GPA. Throw the stress of competing for a gold medal on top of that? I'd be done...caput! Amazingly, all 14 make it happen right here in SLC.

But sitting in class next to these kids is pretty intimidating (especially if it's a certain blue-eyed Freestyle Skiing hottie). It's not enough they're great at their sport, they just have to be awesome at math too! With an average GPA of 3.65, these kids work hard and deserve props. Watch the Olympics to keep tabs on our hometown heroes, and don't miss the Freestyle competition this Saturday (1/3 of the team are Westminster Griffins).

The reason I will watch the Freestyle competition:

Bryon Wilson, one of my academic counterparts...and a total hunk.

Out of the goodness of my heart (not to mention my long, beautiful blonde hair; twinkling blue-eyes; cute dimples and athletic figure...*wink wink*), I would like to offer Mr. Wilson the chance to take me to dinner...if he wins the gold medal (or doesn't).

Some might accuse me of shamelessly using this blog to date...I'm just trying to give Bry Bry some incentive.
