Donovan senior Sinor wins two silvers at NationalsMonsignor Donovan High School senior Lexi Sinor of Manahawkin claimed two silver podium spots in the Junior Women's Division (ages 16-17) at the United States of America Snowboard Association National Championships at Cooper Mountain in Colorado. The event was held during the week of April 5. Sinor's first medal was achieved in the super pipe, a 22-foot halfpipe, with a score of 85.3 (out of 100). She received her second medal in the USASA National Overall Division, accumulating the second-highest score (3,350 points) in the combination of all five disciplines: slopestyle (sixth place), superpipe (second place), boardercross (11th place), slalom (sixth place) and giant slalom (fifth place). Sinor will continue her snowboarding career at Westminster College in Salt Lake City where she will continue to compete with the United States Collegiate Ski and Snowboard Association. For the past two winters, Sinor worked at Camelback Mountain in Pennsylvania as a coach of the Camelback Mountain School development team. She has also worked for four years at UIsland Surf and Sail. In 2009, Sinor started Operation Jersey Shore Vacation, an organization that supports New Jersey troops and their families.
