Westminster fills diversity position

Westminster College officials recently appointed Aretha Minor to fill the newly created position of diversity outreach coordinator.
Minor has been an Upward Bound instructor at the University of Utah, and both an Equal Opportunity Program 100 instructor and peer adviser for Educational Equity Services at California State University Long Beach.
"One of Westminster's core values is the respect for diverse people and perspectives," said Cid Seidelman, Westminster provost. "I am confident that Aretha's background working on diversity issues in higher education will bring great vision and perspective to our many diversity initiatives."
