Commencement is today at 8:30 a.m. in the Dane Hansen Stadium on the school's Salt Lake City campus.

Annual resident tuition (15 credits): $16,900.

• Professor Emeritus: Michael Gaschler, Ph.D. sociology.
• The Excellence in Teaching Award of the Bill and Vieve Gore Endowment Trust: Nancy Panos Schmitt, associate professor of marketing.
• The Manford A. Shaw Faculty Publication Prize: David Stanley, professor of English.

Other awards: Recipients of the Trustees' Character Award, the President's Leadership Award and the Neisen R. Bank Memorial Award will be named at today's ceremony.
