Westminster College's master's of science in nurse anesthesia program has received accreditation from the Council on Accreditation for Nurse Anesthesia Programs.
The Westminster program is the only program in Utah that prepares students for careers as Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetists (CRNA).
The Salt Lake City school is now accepting applications for students to enroll in the MSNA program for fall 2007; the college expects to enroll 15 new CRNA students into the program each year.
The MSNA program takes 30 months and includes interactive classroom, human simulator, gross anatomy experiences along with service learning field work.
