MSU-N, Westminster players win weekly honors

BILLINGS, Mont. (AP) — Players from Montana State-Northern and Westminster College have been named Frontier Conference basketball players of the week.
Geoff Payne of Westminster College was named the men's player of the week.
Westminster won four road games. The Griffins beat No. 17 Concordia University 78-49, Dana College 76-71, Colorado School of Mines 83-72 and Metro State 71-65. Payne averaged 20 points and eight rebounds per game. He was 33 of 47 from the field and 15 of 23 from free throw line.
Stacey Barker of MSU-Northern was named the Frontier women's player of the week.
The Skylights won two last week, beating Concordia of Alberta 79-42 and University of Alberta at Augustana 99-48. Barker averaged 13 points, 11 rebounds and 9.5 blocked shots per game.
