LC State, Western players earn Frontier honors

BILLINGS, Mont. (AP) — The Frontier Conference men's basketball player of the week is Chad Myers of Montana Western.
The 6-foot-2 senior guard from Troy averaged 18 points and four rebounds, hit 50 percent of his field goals including 9 of 15 from three-point land, and was 5 of 7 from the free throw line in two games over the weekend, as Western beat No. 3 Westminster College 90-76 and Lewis-Clark State 79-75.
The Frontier women's player of the week is Kim Preston of Lewis-Clark State.
The 5-9 senior guard from Bellingham, Wash., came off the bench in both games as Lewis-Clark beat Montana Tech 73-47 and Montana Western 70-51. Preston averaged 16 points, four rebounds and 2.5 steals per game. She hit 11 of 24 field goals including 10 of 17 three-point field goals.
