Westminster (WMC)—a liberal arts college in Salt Lake City, in its debut season with a ski team—won the women’s championship. WMC’s Kendall Brown was runner-up in both slalom and GS, giving her the individual combined title.
Westminster came close to winning the men’s title too, actually tying with CSC and perennial favorite Sierra Nevada in team points.
Combined men’s winner Lorentz Gedde-Dahl, a WMC freshman, won both slalom and GS, beating SNC’s double-defending champion by more than one second.
