Congratulations on being admitted to Westminster College! The following is a list of things to do to help make your transition to Westminster as smooth as possible.
1. Pay your Deposit
Pay your $250 deposit to the Admissions Office so we can secure your place in the class. You will not be able to register for classes until the non-refundable deposit is received. Tuition deposits are due by May 1, the National Reply Date.

2. Complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA)
Apply for financial aid online at fafsa.gov. Our priority deadline is March 1. Contact our Financial Aid Office at 801.832.2500 for assistance or questions.
3. Register for Housing
Make sure to secure your spot in one of our residence halls early, as campus housing is in high demand. Housing applications are available beginning December 1, with a priority deadline of May 15. Our First-Year/Sophomore Living Experience is designed to provide students with the best possible college experience.
4. Register for Classes
Registration begins in April with Griffin GearUp. All incoming
first-year students will have the opportunity to attend a Griffin GearUp spring orientation event, a two-day overnight experience for admitted
first-year students that includes meeting with an academic advisor,
registering for classes, understanding the financial aspect of your
education at Westminster, exploring leadership development, and getting
to know your peers.
The dates for the GearUps are: April 20, April 27,
June 1, June 8, June 22, and June 29.

Students who cannot attend a Griffin GearUp will still have the
opportunity to meet with a faculty advisor and get registered. These
one-on-one appointments will be in June and July. To sign up for one,

Register for Advisor Meeting
Transfer students will meet with the Transfer Advisor, Frances
Peacock. They can make an appointment with her at 801-832-2279. New
transfer student registration begins April 9.
5. Attend Student Orientation
First Year Student Orientation spans the four days before the fall semester begins. During orientation you will have an excellent opportunity to meet other students, as well as many dedicated faculty and staff, and get ready to thrive in our campus community!
Transfer Student Orientation is a one-day program providing the foundation of what it means to be a Westminster student. You will have the opportunity to connect with campus partners and other transfer students.

The bookstore is open Monday–Tuesday from 8:00 am–6:00 pm, Friday from 8:00 am–4:00 pm, and Saturday from 10:00 am–2:00 pm.
Get Your Parking Pass
Purchase your parking pass online.
Get your Student ID Card
Visit the Health, Wellness, and Athletic Center during operating hours.
Activate Your Student Food Card
You'll use your student ID card for your meal plan. Visit the food services office located in the Shaw Student Center.
Sign Your Four Year Guarantee
Westminster College extends a guarantee that essential courses will be available to allow you to complete all course work necessary to fulfill Liberal Education/W-Core and major requirements so that you can graduate in four years.
Take a Campus Tour
New students are welcome to schedule a tour with the Admissions office in Converse Hall.
Need to Defer Your Admission Status?
First-year students who have paid their enrollment deposit may apply for deferral for up to two years.
