Scholarship Details

Alumni who begin a graduate program during the Summer or Fall 2017 semesters will be eligible to receive a $1,000 per semester scholarship, valued up to $6,000 for your program.*

*The scholarship is open to graduates from Westminster's BS, BA, BBA and BFA programs who apply to begin one of the 10 eligible graduate programs in the Spring 2017 or Summer 2017 semesters. The scholarship will be awarded in $1,000 disbursements for up to 6 consecutive semesters. Recipients must be enrolled in a minimum of 6 credit hours per semester (4 for MBA Summer term) for up to 6 consecutive semesters to remain eligible. Scholarship cannot be combined with any other institutional grant, scholarship, or discount including tuition match and the accelerated PMBA (for BBA grads). Scholarship Details

Westminster will offer a limited number of merit/need-based scholarships* based on the strength of a candidate's application for Graduate programs within the School of Education.

Qualifying graduate programs include:

• Master of Arts in Teaching
• Master of Education
• Master of Arts in Community Leadership

Scholarships up to $2,000 will be awarded to incoming students for the Summer 2017 semester.

How to Apply

Students interested in applying for this scholarship need to submit a one-page essay May 1, 2017, addressing how you will benefit from receiving a merit-based scholarship. Please email all essays to gradadmissions@westminstercollege.edu.

*The scholarship will be divided and awarded in your first two semesters. Student must be enrolled half-time (4 credits) to be eligible to receive the award. If you are awarded this scholarship but do not enroll for the Summer 2017 semester, the scholarship will be forfeited. Cannot be combined with any other institutional grant, scholarship or discount. Scholarship Details

The strength of a candidate's application will also be taken into consideration. Leadership scholarships up to $5,000 will be awarded to incoming students each semester.

Scholarship Details

Westminster is committed to making your education flexible and affordable. The Simmons Scholarship is available to new students enrolling in one of Westminster's competency-based (online) programs beginning in the Summer 2017 or Fall 2017 semesters*. A limited number of $5,000 scholarships (MSC/PMBA) will be awarded in two $2,500 disbursements over two consecutive semesters. Must begin the program in the Summer 2017 or Fall 2017 semesters to qualify.

Scholarship Details

These $2,500–$4,000 scholarships supports and rewards students who are pursuing graduate studies in accounting* that qualifies them to sit for the CPA examination.  The scholarship is awarded for one academic year and distributed over two semesters. To qualify, students must meet the following criteria:

  • Enrolled in or accepted into Westminster’s Master of Accountancy (MAcc) program or MBA/Accounting Certificate program
  • Must intend to sit for the CPA examination
  • Strong past academic performance as evidenced by graduate or undergraduate GPA
  • Participation in extracurricular activities that promote preparation for careers in in professional accounting
  • Financial need will also be considered

  • Strong past academic performance as evidenced by graduate or undergraduate GPA
