Thinking about starting a business? Need the tools, support, and financial resources to turn your business idea into reality? The Salt Lake Banking on Women™ program can help you plan, launch, and grow your own business.
Banking on Women is GE Capital's philanthropic program that seeks to empower women entrepreneurs by providing them with the knowledge, and resources necessary to create opportunities for themselves, transform their lives and make their dreams come true. They offer a wide variety of training and mentoring opportunities as well as microloans to help them build their business.
Who Can Apply
Banking on Women™ is designed for women who are not able to access traditional sources of funding for their businesses. Female entrepreneurs looking to start or grow their microenterprise are encouraged to apply. A microenterprise business is defined as a small business with five or fewer employees that requires less than $35,000 to start and is too small to qualify for commercial banking services.
