By mixing coursework with projects, students of Environmental Studies show their passion towards a sustainable way of living. While researching on the Great Salt Lake or the desert, students of this degree are trained to have an impact on the world after they graduate. Whether the field of choose is environmental law, business, government or graduate school, the Environmental program will be a valid component for your education.
You'll be trained to understand and analyze the environment from the disciplinary perspective you most enjoy. This means that you will choose to focus on either Science and Environment, or Environmental Humanities, or the Civic Environment of the Social Sciences. So, whether you want to measure a river's chemistry, understand its aesthetic heritage, or quantify its economic power, this is a good major for you.
