Overview

You are a responsible adult—motivated, disciplined, ready and eager to move ahead in the business world. You've acquired knowledge, skills, and abilities in the workplace, but you need a bachelor's degree to demonstrate you're ready to take your career to the next level. The Bachelor of Business Administration (BBA) degree at Westminster College is a great option for adults who want to complete their degree at a fully accredited college that is also top-ranked by USNews & World Report and the Princeton Review.

Westminster's BBA is an online, project-based degree completion program designed for working professionals. It's based on the premise that the true mark of learning is not just what you know but what you can do with what you know.

Who It's For

The program has been specifically designed for adults who have:
  • At least 6 years of work experience (paid, military, and/or volunteer)
  • An associate degree (A.A. or A.S.) earned at an accredited two-year or four-year college or university.
  • Students who have not yet completed their associates degree may still be eligible and can begin their studies through our partner institution, Salt Lake Community College.

Key Benefits

Our low residency program gives you the opportunity to accelerate the completion of your degree and offers unique features you won't find anywhere else.

  • Online and designed to fit into your busy schedule
  • Face-to-face faculty mentoring combined with online learning
  • Real-life projects, not tests
  • Applied learning, not lectures
  • Affordable, and financial aid is available

This innovative, affordable business degree program offers a whole new way to learn through a series of projects that build on what you already know. With a multimedia learning environment enriched by face-to-face faculty coaching, you'll learn at your own pace with an array of online learning resources. Ultimately, you'll demonstrate mastery of more than 40 business competencies-the skills that employers are looking for today.

In traditional programs, all students, regardless of experience, take the same courses. They complete a standardized set of stand-alone classes, on campus or online, and demonstrate your mastery of the material by receiving passing grades on tests. They fit your life around courses and test times.

Westminster's BBA program recognizes that you've learned things through your work and life experiences and allows you to concentrate your time on the business skills you haven't yet mastered. Our hands-on, project-based format allows you to apply what you've learned in a series of projects that demonstrate what you can do with what you know. The BBA program also fits into your busy life.

How Long it Takes

A student who is working full-time could complete the program in 12–18 months, but the time frame could be longer or shorter, depending on individual experience and life commitments. The program is designed to take five semesters to complete.

Accreditation Employers Trust

The BBA Program is an approved program by the Northwest Commission on Colleges and Universities, the same organization that oversees Westminster College's accreditation

The Bill and Vieve Gore School of Business is nationally accredited by the Association of College Business Schools and Programs (ACBSP).
