Free poetry readings begin at 7:00 p.m. in the Kim Adamson Alumni House at Westminster College and are followed by book signings and receptions. Free Spring Poetry Workshop

Westminster College continues to offer a small poetry class taught by Natasha Sajé—open to both students and members of the community—during the spring semester. The course meets at 4:30–7:20 pm on the following Mondays:

  • January 13, 27
  • February 3, 10, 17, 24
  • March 2, 16, 23, 30
  • April 6, 13, 20, 27

To be considered for this free course, please submit three poems in one document with contact information on the poems (name, phone, email, address) by October 15. Click "Submit" below and look for the portal labeled "Free Spring 2020 Poetry Workshop." Participants will be notified by December 1.


The poetry workshop is an in-person event held in Salt Lake City. It is not an online class.

Natasha Sajé

Natasha Sajé is the author of three books of poems, most recently Vivarium, winner of the Poetry Society of America’s Alice Fay di Castagnola Award and the Utah 15 Bytes award for poetry; a poetry handbook (Windows and Doors: A Poet Reads Literary Theory); and a forthcoming book of personal essays, Terroir: Essays on Otherness. She has been teaching at Westminster College since 1998.
