Horizon Cloud Storage
What is Horizon?
Horizon is a cloud storage space. You can access your files in a folder on your computer or online if you are away from your usual computer. The files will sync between all the devices you are using.
Who can use Horizon?
Faculty and staff can have their own Horizon storage account. Students may use Horizon if a faculty or staff member shares a folder with them, but students do not have access to their own storage space.
Requesting access to Horizon?
You will only hace access to Horizon after requesting an account with the program. Please fill out the form located here to request access to Horizon.
How do I access Horizon online?
After your Horizon account is created, you can access Horizon by going to cloud.westminstercollege.edu. Here, you will log in with your Westminster username and password.
How do I access Horizon on my computer?
After logging in to cloud.westminstercollege.edu, you can click on your name in the top right and select "Download Horizon." This will download the Horizon folder to your computer so you can access, edit, and manage your documents just like you would in any other folder.
How do I share folders with my students or coworkers?
Log into cloud.westminstercollege.edu. Use the arrow next to the folder name to select the "Share" option, and a box will pop up allowing you to share the folder with various permissions. The person you share the folder with does not have to be someone that already has access to Horizon, so it is possible to share the folder with students.
