File Safe Usage and Instructions
Outlook has an attachment size limit of 25 MB. File Safe is a program used to send emails with attachments up to 2GB.
Who can use File Safe?
Anyone with a Westminster username and password have access to send messages using File Safe. Anyone has access to receive messages via File Safe.
How do I use File Safe to Send Messages?
Faculty and Staff: Go to filesafe.westminstercollege.edu and log in. You will be taken to a new message window. Here, you can fill out the message and recipient information and attach your files (up to 2GB). For further instructions, please view our Quick Tip for Sending Messages with File Safe.
How do I receive files from File Safe?
If you receive an email with a File Safe download link, someone has sent you a large file. You can access the file by clicking directly on the link. This will take you to File Safe, where you can view and download files.
Depending on the security and options selected by the sender, you may need to log in with you Westminster username and password. You may also be limited as to how many times you may download the file, so keep this in mind when you download the file the first time.
