College Should be Fun

From capture the flag to roller disco, from theater performances to the back-to-school foam party, from the frozen yogurt buyout to poetry slams, you’ll find something to love about life at Westminster.

Residence Life

Grabbing dinner with friends in the dining hall, watching movies in the lounge of your building, and playing frisbee on the Village Green are just a few of things you’ll love about living on campus. When you live where you study, you’ll never miss a spur-of-the-moment snowball fight or last-minute pizza run.

You’ll always have someone to keep you company during your late-night, caffeine-fueled cram sessions. And you’re just a short walk from restaurants, parks, coffee shops, and movie theatres. Plus, on the off-chance you have enough time to feel homesick, your resident advisor lives just down the hall and is here to help whenever you need it.

Recreation and Outdoors

Living a meaningful life means challenging yourself mentally and physically. Our fitness, wellness, and recreation program offers everything from classes to outdoor trips.

You can rock climb, lift weights, swim, and spin in the Eccles Center. Take a Pilates, yoga, barre, or hip hop class. Or even get a Wilderness First Responder certification. All without leaving campus.
AntiGravity Fitness
Housed in the Dolores Doré Eccles Health, Wellness, and Athletics Center (HWAC), we are the home base of the Outdoor Recreation Program, which leads climbing, backpacking, and cross country skiing trips (just to name a few) throughout the year. Or if you prefer, you and your friends can rent a tent, stove, and sleeping bags and go explore the Wasatch Mountains on your own.

Parents

We feel honored that your family has chosen Westminster for this next great adventure, and you can rest easy knowing your student is in good hands.

Whatever path they choose to follow in the next four years, we are here to support your student every step of the way. Their professors will guide, encourage, and challenge them to keep pushing the boundaries of what they know. And we think you’ll be blown away when you see what they’re capable of.

But please stick around! Meet up with your student for an art show, lecture, or play on campus. Or stop by for a family dinner in the dining hall or somewhere nearby in Sugar House.
