About the Chemistry Program

Chemistry Coaching Center

Impact of Coronavirus (COVID-19)

While in-person classes are postponed, the Chemistry Coaching Center will not be open for in-person coaching/tutoring. Coaching/tutoring will continue online through Canvas for all general chemistry and organic chemistry students. Coaches are available to help with all aspects of the online chemistry coursework, including online class and online laboratory material. Coaches will be available Sunday–Wednesday, 5–8 p.m., and by appointment at other times.

How to Get Help Online

  1. Open the Chemistry Coaching Center Canvas page and review the daily schedule that displays the assigned coaches
  2. Email the assigned coach with the day and time you would like to meet with them, including the topic(s) that you would like to discuss.
  3. A few minutes before the meeting time, you will be invited to join a conference through your Canvas email. You will then navigate to Canvas, select collaborations, and join the meeting.

For more information about what to expect, you can watch an instructional video on YouTube.
