Almost all Honors students receive generous financial aid packages from Westminster College as a result of their outstanding performance in high school. Rankings for that scholarship money take into account many factors, including performance in high school AP classes and on AP exams. The Honors program does everything in its power to support its students' quest for other forms of monetary support, including funding for various research opportunities and post-graduate scholarships.
Honors Academic Excellence Scholarship
The program offers four annual Honors Academic Excellence Scholarship to incoming Honors students who show exceptional promise in the areas of academic excellence, campus leadership and visibility, and who demonstrates a good fit with the unique learning approach of honors.
These annually renewable $5,000 awards can be added to the Presidential scholarship and will allow recipients to devote the majority of their time to educational pursuits and leadership opportunities. This annual scholarship is renewable for up to four years, as long as the recipient remains a full-time student throughout each semester of enrollment, remains in good academic standing, and continues as an active member of the Honors program.
