Student Application

All Westminster College applicants are considered for acceptance on the basis of his or her potential for success at Westminster. Academic preparation includes both course work, grades, items such as entrance exams (ACT or SAT), recommendations, and extracurricular activities.  

If you are APPLYING to Westminster submit the following: 

You only need to fill out one application.

1. The Common Application: Complete your application online and it will automatically be sent electronically to Westminster College.
   
   Westminster Application: Create a Westminster account, it will auto-fill data and is submitted electronically.
   
   Westminster Print Application: (PDF) If you prefer not to send your personal information online, you can fax or snail mail your application to us. (PDF documents are in Adobe Acrobat format. You may need to visit the Adobe website and get the free Acrobat Reader plugin.)
   
   Utah Mentor Application: If you have a Mentor account, this application will have pre-filled data.

2. Westminster Checklist: (PDF) This is an excellent tool to help you keep track of the information Westminster requires for application
3. ACT or SAT scores (see below for ACT and SAT test dates).
4. High School Counselor Online Recommendation: Send this link to your High School Counselor for a personal recommendation—it will speed up the process; or click here to download it. 
5. Personal essay (part of the online application OR part of the print application listed above).
6. $40 application fee.

Deadlines

Westminster operates rolling admissions and we are currently accepting applications. We start taking applications beginning September of your senior year. The priority deadline for financial aid is April 15 and for on-campus housing May 15. We guarantee housing for all incoming freshmen—but you MUST apply by May 15. After that time, on-campus housing becomes limited.
