1.     Can the GMAT be waived? 
The GMAT may be waived based on the applicant's work experience and previous academic performance. For more information, please contact the graduate admissions office at 801.832.2200 or 800.748.4753
 

 

2.     What is the current tuition rate for the MAcc programs?

Tuition for the MAcc programs is 34,800 ($1,160 per credit hour) for the full 30 credit hour program when you begin in the 2012-2013 academic year. Tuition is inclusive to cover course work, books, fees, networking events, and seminars. 

 

3.     Will this program prepare me for the CPA? 
The structure of the program covers the following four areas: Auditing & Attestation, Financial Accounting and Reporting, Regulation, Business Environment & Concepts. You are provided the knowledge necessary to sit for the CPA exam.
 

 

4.     When can I start the program? 
The Westminster MAcc Program offers three starts: Fall (August), Spring (January) and Summer (May). 

 

5.     How long is the program? 
The MAcc program requires 30 credit hours. If completed as a full-time student, you’ll complete the program in one year (Fall, Spring, Summer).

 

6.     How much time should I give myself for schoolwork? 
Throughout the program, you will have classes three nights a week if you’re a full-time student. Each class is three hours and twenty minutes in length and homework is usually three to five hours per week per class. As a total, you should expect 18-24 hours of total work.
