Transfer CreditWestminster College accepts credit earned at other regionally accredited institutions in which a C- or better has been earned and which is appropriate for the degree being sought. Courses that are remedial in nature or below college level are not acceptable. A maximum of 72 credit hours may be awarded from two-year institutions. A maximum of 88 credit hours may be awarded from a combination of 2- and 4-year institutions. NOTE: It is not possible to earn upper-division credit hours from a 2-year institution. New transfer students are issued a Transfer Evaluation Summary by the Registrar’s Office. These summaries are also prepared each time a student transfers credit to Westminster. If students need help interpreting this document or need more information, they should contact the Registrar’s Office at 832-2180 or the START Center at 832-2280. |
