Alumni Career Network
Student-Alumni Connect is an online tool designed to connect Westminster students with Westminster Alumni for career exploration opportunities. Students will benefit from your advice about education, career path, employment opportunities in your industry, and tips for entering today’s job market. By registering, you’ll impact the lives of students who are interested in learning more about your career field. You determine how students contact you, what types of contact you’re interested in, and how often you’d like to be contacted. A Westminster Degree connects more than 16,000 alumni and students. This alumni bond can open the door for networking and employment opportunities. Take a Griffin to Lunch matches alumni with students in their career field/major for a one-time meeting, usually over lunch. The program recruits alumni on an ongoing basis, however matching takes place once a year in February, giving pairs spring semester to plan a meeting date. Participants are partnered for eight months, beginiing in September and ending in April. Alumni are asked to meet with their student for four hours a month. The Career Resource Center provides students and alumni with the guidance and resources necessary to enhance their skills in career planning and exploration, and job search strategies. The Career Resource Center offers free services for alumni such as resume review and mock interviews.
