Anthony Englert '09
Even before graduating from Westminster in 2009 with a BS in Finance, Anthony Englert had secured a job with Goldman Sachs as a financial analyst after completing an internship with the company. As a financial analyst, Anthony works with investments, private wealth, client portfolios, and various funds, analyzing information and predicting any trends and problems that may arise. “I already felt overly prepared for this position based on the skills I learned at Westminster,” Anthony said. “The business and finance curriculum is so practical that it transferred directly to my job.” Anthony said Westminster taught him to understand the field as a whole, engaging the critical, analytical, and integrative thinking skills he learned here to know “not just the rules, but the building blocks and the underlying things behind it.” The skills Anthony uses in his daily work are skills he acquired at Westminster, including working with teams on projects, making democratic decisions, and working collaboratively. “It all goes back to what I learned at Westminster,” Anthony said.
