Westminster Under Arizona Skies

Skyline at sunset of Phoenix, Arizona Bring your families and join us for a unique gathering of Westminster College alumni in Phoenix on February 10 and 11, 2006!

We’re gathering for a casual reception on Friday evening from 7:00 to 9:00 p.m. at the Gordon Biersch Brewery & Restaurant, 420 S. Mill Avenue, Suite 201 in Tempe.

Then, on Saturday morning, head downtown to the Arizona Science Center for an astronomy Class Without Quizzes with Westminster’s Dr. Chris Cline, professor of physics and chemistry followed by a Planetarium Show on Arizona Skies.

We’ll have lunch together with Westminster President Michael Bassis outdoors in the Science Center’s Canyon Terrace ($15 per person includes a drink ticket). After lunch you can explore the more than 300 hands-on exhibits of the Arizona Science Center.

At twilight, we’ll gather again to discover the Arizona night sky with Dr. Cline using the Westminster College telescope.
